The Michael Vary Show is on the air. I'm going to I got an email from the Independent Electrical Contractors Association.

They just had one of their graduation ceremonies.

And the IEC, they are known is a trade association of independent

electrical contractors.

That is, the independent means the non-union electrical contractors.

And years ago, they determine that a lot of young folks graduate high school go to college.

They're not learning how to become an electrician.

And they figured out if we're going to have a next generation of our industry,

someone to sell this company to as we get older.

And in the shorter term, people that are going to go out and build the things

that we have the contracts to build, if it is to be it's up to me we're going to have to

train them ourselves and so they do. Now the neat thing about this is they sent me the link to their Facebook page you can see it yourself it's IEC which is independent

electrical contractors Texas Gulf Coast that's the that's this region. this region.

And his photos of a bunch of folks, I would guess these guys range in age from 18 to 30.

Some of them are not, probably straight out school.

Probably half of them are minorities.

Of those minorities,

probably 80% of the minorities are Hispanic.
