When we interview a guest on this show, I don't just want someone who's in the news.

I don't believe in the good get where someone because they're famous or they're in the news and look at me they're talking

to me. I don't find that to be illuminating. In fact that's why oftentimes we have as guests the every man and it might be a shopkeeper in Hoboken.

It might be a person who was a victim of crime and has spoken out and had enough or someone

who's spoken before a school board

and said enough I'm not a famous person but you're not doing this to my child and I'll

take on this entire school board. Well our next guest is somewhere in between

because he has increasingly become a famous person of late by telling his story, and it's a story not of a famous person but of a real person. We talk a lot about this transition

and transgender issues and boys who want to become girls and girls who want to become boys and

whether you have folks enabling, grooming, you have doctors and now you're seeing what's

called a D-transition transition which is where a boy

wants to become a girl or vice versa and they begin this process and all of a sudden

somewhere along the line they say wait that's not what you said was going to happen I don't like my

body I don't like my voice I don't like how I feel you didn't solve my problem you made

it worse and it's particularly troubling when it happens to a young person.

Because now, were they of the age to make such a big decision? You can't, you're not

old enough to smoke, not old enough to get a tattoo because those are

potentially permanent, but you're old enough to change your entire identity and yes, sex is a big part of our identity. Remember when you went to the school dance and they said
