The Michael Derry Show is on the air.

The state of Texas is holding its primary runoff elections today. The main

contest to watch is the Republican race for U.S. Senate. The incumbent John Cornyn is fighting for

his political survival against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. I know Republicans voters,

and as I said earlier, really it's a question of who bothers to show up.

If only the most radical people show up in the primary, then I think that's going to be a challenge.

If we get a broad spectrum of Republican voters to turn out in the primary, I'm optimistic about the outcome.

Very early numbers coming in. You see a handful of counties reporting votes. Ken Paxton leading in all of them.

Yeah! Quoted beat Paxton here solidly. Can't see it again.

Corny beat Paxton here solidly in the preliminary.

But again, looking at the early vote right here, Paxton's absolutely trouncing him.

The suburban establishment Republicans, business Republicans, do they stick with Cornyn?

Or do enough of them listen to the president?

Well, 45 to 38 a few weeks ago, Paxton on top 59 to 41 at the moment.
