And the book is by a fellow named Goldman, G-O-L-E-M-A-N.

It's called Emotional Intelligence.

I looked it up.

There's a bunch of books that have that term in the title,

but only one by Daniel Goldman. It says the groundbreaking book that redefines what it means to be

smart, emotional intelligence, why it can matter more than IQ, number one bestseller, Goldman, G-O-L-E-M-A-N.

You know, somewhere along the way we lost the plot of being a parent and raising children and our responsibility. Think back to when you were a kid,

your parents and your grandparents, and think about the use of corporal punishment. Think about

teaching you things and you learning things simple things like what a plug nickel was

or how to use a soldering iron or how to change a tire or how an alternator works or how to change a battery

think about the things that you learned while not holding the light still for your dad while he was working.

That's a universal deal.

Dad's asking their kid to hold the light and kids being unable to hold the light.

No surprise. I couldn't stay focused long enough.
