A couple of weeks back I posted to Facebook giving people an opportunity to promote their business.

So the name of your business, what you do, how to reach you.

And it never surprises me.

I mean, it always, it always surprises me

how many people don't understand the importance of telling about your business, sharing

your business, promoting your business, telling people who you are and how to reach you and what you do.

It just shocks me.

You know, when you think of the fact that we agree that an education of a child, whatever an education is is important to their growth and development.

And we have an opportunity with every single human being to prepare them for the world they're going to enter as an adult, alone and independent.

There are so many things we don't teach that are not that hard. How to file your taxes,

how to apply for a loan, how to calculate the time value of money, career skills,

basic life skills.

None of those things are discussed and really never have been or haven't been for a very long time.

But today you have people for this period of time and the people in charge of the system are mostly

concerned that the boys become girls and the girls become boys.

That seems to be an overriding interest and that those who don't

participate at least stand in the corner and clap and tell them how proud they are

of them. You have an opportunity to spur entrepreneurship, to spur

entrepreneurism. You have the opportunity to teach people how to read a

profit and loss statement, how to read a profit and law statement, how to propose in a document, how to read a basic legal

contract, and yet none of it.

It's unfortunate, it really is.
