713, 999, 1000, it's our Father's Day special.

I find it very telling this happens every year when the emails start coming in early

before Father's Day which of course they did this week and I'll I'll do my best to

get to as many as I can.

When the emails start coming in, it's always about fathers who have passed,

always.

It is never to say, you know my father, he is my rock, he is my everything people say almost

nobody ever says if their father is still alive. We've got to see the flaw in the ointment

here. Our way of thinking is that we don't appreciate something and there's got to be a reason for

this we don't appreciate something until it's gone and then we'll wail and

Nash teeth and lamentations and public displays and I can't hold it back.

I've got to tell somebody my dear daddy was the best.

How come no one says that when dad's still alive? I don't mind. I'm glad people do it. But that makes me wonder. What about, what is the flaw in our personality?

Is it pride? Is it the mistaken belief that dad will always be there?

Is it the awkwardness to say things because many times people

many times people will email me about Chance McLean in the films he does is often the dad.

It could be the mom or the dad or both.

And they'll say, hey, can you connect me with your friend who makes the biographies of people's

parents or them?

And I will, and they'll come back and they'll say, we wanted to do it.
