Houston Chronicle says, IW Marks Jewelers was founded in the late 70s by Irv and Diane Marks.

Irv Marks died of cancer in 2008. His son Brad Marks has been running the store since.

The end of the jewelry store on Bellard Boulevard comes just a year after the store unveiled

He'd do his commercial, jump up and down and look for his money.

It wasn't there, he'd go desert.

And we always had a spare microphone poll there,

and sometimes I'd sort of goose him while he's doing this commercial even jump out of his skin.
