And so there was a gathering, a candidate for him.

Saturday afternoon inside the Young Women's College Preparatory Academy, folks

piled in to hear from candidates who are hoping to be selected as the

Democratic nominee for the 18th Congressional District.

They are buying to take the seat of somebody who was an advocate and who spoke up for the underserved. 88 precinct chairs in the Democratic Party will be

the ones to decide whose name is on the ballot come November, but they wanted to

make sure voters had input too.
