The first of our growing pains this week.

Ramone is suspended with pay this week for a number of things, and Jim Mudd is filling in for him.

If you're wondering what those things are, it was insubordination, napping on duty, dinging the wrong things,

too many 90s bumps,

and he was already on probation for too much Depeche Mode and you too.

So Jim Mud filling in this week.

But that mistake right there, that was mine

because I didn't have my audio.

I didn't have my mic turned up. So if you notice an

improvement on the bumps this week, expect a lot more Van Halen than usual because that's

Jim Budd's favorite band, but he has carte blanche to do whatever he wants to do. So any changes

you notice for the better or unlikely the worse,

feel free to let me know. And I will pass those along to Jim and Ramon, especially if you like

the job Jim's doing better than the job Ramon's doing. So funding for the federal government this

week runs out on Friday at midnight.

And this is not how advanced civilizations operate.

We've got these continuing resolutions to fund the government.

And if they don't fund the government, then the government's going to shut down.

And so this is great for media and great for Congress, because we have this constant crying of wolf that the government's going to be shut down.
