in Hazard County, Georgia, and is owned by Jefferson Davis Hogg or JD Hogg for short.

Most people just call him Boss Hogg because he's the County Commissioner of Hazard County

and the county's political boss, so now the nickname makes sense.

The Bores Nest contains ample seating room for customers, a small kitchen and a bar.

The main bar contains a popcorn machine, a jukebox, a pinball machine, a pool table, and a pay telephone.

There's also a small stage area where more than a few big-name country music stars have performed.

Those country music stars agreed to play at the Bores Nest after they got caught by Sheriff Roscoe,

Pico, Train, Celebrity Speedtrap.

Some of the many artists that performed at the Bores Nest include Tammy Weinette,

Wayland Jennings, Loretta Lynn, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Pasadena Zone, Mickey Gilly.

Speaking of Mickey Gilly, the Bores Nest has been described as resembling the well-known
