One of the biggest questions I get is if I’m spending too much money? Here are the things I think about as I’ve gotten older and made more money. The first thing is, as a Christian, are you still tithing and giving? If you are making a lot of money and you aren’t tithing or giving, there’s an issue. You’re meant to serve others and you’re meant to give. Even if you aren’t Christian, I believe you still should be giving and donating, rather than selfishly spending money. 

Another thing that’s important is paying attention to see if you’re neglecting your family and responsibilities in order to make money. This is something I’m very conscious of. It’s important to have balance in your life and have certain times to do different tasks. 

The third to consider is how far below your means are you living? The goal is to live below your means so you can save money and build wealth. When you start living above your means, then you’re going to start neglecting parts of your life in order to work and make up for that loss income.
