Here in this program, we're going to be talking a little bit about, man, the assurance of salvation. We had a question that was sent in in our email. I don't know if you know this. One of the questions that came in, we thought, man, deserved an entire video, so that's what we're doing today, is responding to a question that had been asked, hey, I want to know if I'm really saved. I'm wrestling through various sins, convert, believe in Jesus for my, you know, justification, I trust in him. But as all of this is happening, there's besetting sins, pride, and outburst of anger, a lust that'll creep up here and there. How can I really know that I'm saved if all of this sin is still within me? And that's kind of the reason that we've done this show today. How are you doing over there in Oklahoma City? I accidentally muted myself somehow. I don't know how

that happened. I heard you. No, we're doing good, man. I got two kids football games this evening, so my wife and I are going to have to split duty. I go to one. She goes to the other. Excited about this episode, it's an important one to me. A lot of you guys know that I'm a Calvinist. Josh, not a Calvinist. Miller is not a Calvinist. And so I'm the lone one representing

this position here. And in my early days of Calvinism, in just my culture that I was a part of, a lot of people,

they made it seem like a virtue to doubt your salvation. I have seen that sometimes in Calvinist camps. I'm a Calvinist. I think that's not a virtue at all. I don't think that's good. I think God wants us to have assurance of salvation. But I was so often, like I had this verse quoted to me saying, saying, Corinthians 13, 5, where it says, you know, test yourselves and see whether you're in the

faith. And I can I can picture angry people saying, test yourselves, test yourselves, test yourselves.
