Am I overreacting for not wanting to be a bridesmaid after being handed a weight loss plan by the bride.

Wow, I'm immediately going to say no, probably not.

Anyway, let's get into this.

I am a 28-year-old woman, and I was recently asked to be a bridesmaid for my college best friend's wedding.

I was genuinely touched until she sent us our wedding prep kits. Inside mine, a diet plan,

a motivational water bottle and a note that said, let's all look snatch for the big day.

You got this bicep emoji. I was flawed. I'm a size 12, healthy, active, and not at all interested in losing weight for anyone,

much less to fit into her aesthetic. Are your size 12? I mean, not that it really matters what

size you are, but arguably it is even more crazy that she's asking you as someone who is a size 12,

healthy and active, to lose weight.

It would still be just as crazy if you were heavier, but that is even more deranged.

I mean, they're both not great, but you know what I mean here.

I texted her privately, trying to be civil.

Hey, I'm not comfortable being handed a diet plan.

I'd rather not be in the bridal party if my appearance as an issue.
