Hello, Dr. Laura. Hi. I am my kid's mom. What's happening? Okay. Hi. I, um, well, my son is 15, just turned 15 in

September and, uh, first year freshman and he wanted to go to homecoming and that's fine. He asked

permission if he could ask a young lady and i i said yes and he

went um he wanted to go to um so home homecoming was between 830 and 11 30 we hired a bus to take

them along with two adult chaperones after the party he um they were planning to go to someone else's house at 1 o'clock in the morning

for an after party.

He's 15.

And he spent the night over at that home before with their family.

But this was going to be at 1 o'clock for a 15 year old to have a just now starting a

party and um well i have a question was he did he take the girl was he going to take the girl

home first or was this going to sort of be an all-nighter with a girl oh no no ma'am everybody the

bus the party bus took everybody back to one central location.

Everyone there stayed for probably 45, or it's going to play, stayed for about 45 minutes to an hour, swim, eat some snacks.

And then I was to pick him up at 1 o'clock.

And he then wanted to go from there to another party now this all

happened Saturday okay this this did happen Saturday um so he was putting the pressure on me to let

him go to this party after um homecoming yeah I got all that and to the other festivities

of course you and I at our age would be too tired to do that party after all the swimming homecoming. Yeah, I got all that after the other festivities.

Of course, you and I at our age would be too tired to do that party after all the swimming and eating. Yeah, it was our, it's going to be hard enough to go pick him up at one o'clock in the

morning to begin with, but I said that, yes, he could do that. It was plenty of parents.
