Hello everybody. Welcome back to Psychedelics today with your host Kyle Buller and Joe Moore.

This is Kyle, and for this episode, I am interviewing and talking with Alyssa Gerski, who is a master's student

over at Noropa University with a focus in mental health counseling and trans-personal

art therapy.

You may remember Alyssa from some previous episodes in the past.

We had her on about a few months ago, but unfortunately, there is some weird digital static throughout the episode.

I think there was some sort of hardware issue that we were having and didn't notice it until post interview and post-production.

So I've been over in Jersey City for the past two weeks,

just hanging out at a friend's house, house sitting.

And Alyssa flew back to the East Coast from Colorado,

and we decided to meet up to have a better quality audio experience

and to help get her story out there.

So Alyssa is doing some really awesome things.

Like I said, she is at Neuropa University currently

studying clinical mental health counseling with a focus

in transpersonal art therapy.

So we talk about the intersections

of art therapy and expressive art and psychedelics. So what would that look like to incorporate

art therapy after a psychedelic experience, maybe during a psychedelic experience, and just how she

really got involved in art and psychedelics.

Alyssa has also been part of the Maps trial, so she was a night attendant over at the Boulder study,

and now she is currently a night attendant over in Fort Collins.
