Job chapter 13, verse 15,

though he slay me, I will hope in him.

Now that is a powerful statement.

Though he slay me, Job says,

though I come under the weight of whatever God is doing in my life in this moment,

I will hope in him.

These parts of the book of Job were amidst all his questions and his

wrestling and his anguish and his suffering he pauses and we have these powerful

declarations of faith though he slain me I will hope in him there is hope in God always always always

even when it seems like everything is dark there is hope in God always. For our lives, and our families and our churches

and the work we do for the spread of the gospel around the world. Just think about brothers

and sisters who walk through really hard days.

I'm wondering, is it going anywhere?

Face obstacles and opposition.

And wonder, are we going to be able to get through this?

There is hope always in God. And so we pray, God, our hope is in you. We believe in you.

We trust in you. And we know that in you, we always have hope. So we say, no matter what we're

walking through, no matter what we're facing, our hope is in you. And our hope is not in anyone,

anything else. No one else is worthy of our hope like this.

Oh, God, you alone are worthy of our hope. We praise you for the hope we have in you. And so we

pray together for the spread of this hope in this world. God, so many people, everyone needs hope.
