Summary

Aluminum foil has been used for decades for storing, cooking, and even grilling food. 1:26.4	saran wrap, plastic, and aluminum foil, and my mom used it every single day to wrap food,
1:34.8	to wrap containers, for leftovers, we used it all the time.
1:39.1	It was part of the kitchen, and I know many of you are using it today.
1:44.4	And the history of tin foil goes back a long way.
1:48.0	It started to be used and developed in the 1700s, and then the late 1800s and early 1900s
1:55.4	it started to be marketed.
1:57.2	Tin foil was used as filling material and dentistry and way back then also food storage, and
2:05.6	it replaced the mason jar.
