Alterraun Verner played eight seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins. He selected in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft (104th overall) by the Titans and played four seasons in Nashville before departing as a free agent in 2014 to play with Tampa.
The 2013 Pro Bowler announced his retirement from the NFL on March 18, 2019 and signed a one day contract to retire as a Titan on April 16, 2019.
