On today’s podcast I had two mortgage lenders on, and we talked about all the unique loan products out there for real estate investors. It was really cool to see because there are a lot of products people don’t really know about! Most investors are thinking they’re either getting a hard money loan and super high interest, or they’re getting just a primary 30-year conventional, that has a bunch of rules and stipulations that makes it difficult for entrepreneurs and real estate investors. We have a lot of debt in real estate! Their loans are very interesting because that stuff isn’t that important. They’ve got lower interest products on rentals that are for 30 to 40 years! They’ve got interest only, as well as products they’re willing to finance Airbnbs based on that short term rent amount. I think it’s a super insightful interview, especially if you’re trying to figure out how to finance your next rental property and maybe your debt to income ratio is maxed out!
