After almost a year of waiting, the day had finally arrived.

It was time to close out the bet on Dad's 10 predictions with $10,000 on the line.

I mean, I have everything, but you can go get your list.

Let me just have it too, so I can look at it and see if there's anything I can pretend

happened.

Well, at least so far we're sharing a reality.

Dad and I sat across from each other at the same table we shared countless family dinners growing up.

He pulled out his handwritten list and I had my laptop open to a dock

full of questions and fact checks. I'm just going to go through the list for your 10 predictions

for the year. We'll start with the easy ones. There's four that can easily be grouped together.
