Podcast. Today we're talking about a fungal disease that can really mess with a lot of the crops in your garden, tomatoes, cabbage, apples

and oranges even, a disease that spans that many plants.

We need to figure out how to take care of that. So this disease is alternaria leaf spot,

brown ring-like spots that can absolutely destroy your crops.

So let's figure out how to get rid of it.

So it's a common fungal disease. Many fruits and vegetables suffer from it. It can

actually appear in ornamentals as well. It really doesn't care too much it seems

like what it decides to colonize. So nearly 20% of

spoilage can be directly attributed to the alternary a genus of fungi which is a

crazy amount that's one-fifth of all spoilage can be attributed to alternaria. However, there are many different types and these ones are insane. I really can't talk about all of them on the podcast. So I would highly recommend you check out the article.

But basically, the whole idea is that it's going to cause leaf spots,

blights, and rots, no matter what variety we're talking about.
