Summary

In this sneak peek into our bonus episode, Tayne and Ade share a bit of their culture as Nigerians. Since we are a MAFS podcast, of course we talk about Nigerian weddings! We talk about the many and various steps required, before getting to the actual wedding(s), how big Nigerian weddings are and how we had both been at two Nigerian weddings but never actually met each other until years after.

We also touch on the expectations of being a bridesmaid in a Nigerian wedding and how much work is involved. After all said and done, we let you know how Nigerian weddings are the fun-nest weddings (no bias, of course!) and everyone should attend one in their lifetime.

0:40.3

What do you think?

0:41.2

I want to say that it's true because I have seen like when I was in college and I met a lot of people who are born and raised in America, but their family is Nigerian.

1:07.2

I think, I think, and this is like true for every wedding.

1:11.7

Like weddings are these like super emotional.

1:14.2

Everybody gets very invested.

1:16.7

But I've seen a lot of like Nigerian parents be like, but this is our tradition.

1:21.5

And I wonder like if they have that need to be like, this is our tradition.

1:26.6

We must do it this way, because obviously
