So we're going to use this week's show to try to catch up.

We're going to take a look at a controversy that erupted about the Latin

Grammys just after the nominations were announced last week.

Also, five of those nominations went to Colombian superstar Juanis.

We'll hear a backstage interview with him about his new album and his latest tour

in the time of COVID.

Also, a Cuban musician based in Los Angeles was interviewed about his

submission to our annual Tiny Desk contest. We'll check in with him. But up first, in an interview

with Jose Gonzalez, a Swedish musician with Argentine roots. He has a new album out called Local

Valley, and it's another interesting turn in a fascinating career.
