The race is on and we have not only a new car to discuss, but also a new team name and a new look.

The Alfa Tauri 801 that was launched with a fashion show in Salzburg is a Toro Rosso by any other name,

but can it live up to the ambitious target set by Team Boss France Tost?

I'm your host, Ed Straw, and joining me to talk all things Alpha Tauri is Glenn Freeman,

and as always, we'll also be hearing Gary Anderson's technical analysis of a car

that's more than just a Red Bull clone.

So, Glenn, first things first,

a different livery for you. So are you happy? Oh, absolutely delighted Ed. When I saw,

when I saw the first picture come through that you sent from the launch, actually, I thought,

yes, that's a brand new look, really interesting colour scheme. I always like blue and white cars as

well. So yeah,

that launch ticked a lot of boxes for me. But more importantly, Ed, you were there. You were at

the physical event that the team held in Austria. So why don't you tell us a bit more about it,

especially the fashion show element, which I believe is the reason you accepted the invitation.

Well, as everyone will know, I'm very keen on fashion. Anyone who sees the way that I dress will know that that's a very important part of my life. But yeah, it was slightly strange. We were all waiting for the car to be unveiled, and this sort of fashion show kept happening and going on. I guess it's obvious really. Alpha Tauri is a fashion brand.

As an aside, it's quite a new fashion brand. They launched it in 2016. So this is all about trying to make Alphotari a global brand. So a logical bit of renaming there for Red Bull. But yeah,

we had all the models strutting around the stage and circling the car and standing about.

I'm not in my element in a fashion show, so we say,

but I was quite pleased on Twitter to put on our account a photo that I could legitimately say I was a fashion photographer.

So there we go.

That's a career box ticked, so to speak.

It's one off the bucket list, isn't it?
