Today's topic is Alpha Cell, Alpha Cell, not Beta Cell, because they're not up to B yet.

That'll be sometime in 2027 that we get to the B's.

Alpha cell. I'm regretting this. Now alpha means first.

Right. Alpha and Omega, first and last. So this is the first cell. What does that mean?

So alpha, you're correct, is part of the Greek alphabet. Okay. Alpha. Alpha.

Very good.

And so, yes, you're correct.

That's what it's termed.

In terms of where this cell is located, it's in the pancreas.

Cool.

Do you know what the pancreas means?

Pancreas.

Pan means many or all and crease is like

your butt crack flesh okay so it's the all-encompassing crease so i think it yeah anyway

i think it was turned because it seemed seemed all flesh muscle, all flesh organ.

Now, I think Dr. Langerhans was the real first person to identify those different cell types

or populations within the pancreas.

So this was the first one?

No.

Right.
