Formula One had it all in 2024, and here on F1 Beyond the Grid, we spoke to the star-studied cast of a season that's often felt like a Hollywood blockbuster.

And as we end, the podcast seventh season, I've picked some of my highlights from the past

12 months.

legends I've spoken to, like Juan Pablo Montoya. But we'll start with the story that sent

shockwaves through Formula One. In February, Lewis Hamilton announced that he would be joining

Ferrari in 2025. A signing that unites the most decorated

driver in Formula One history with the most decorated team. And it ends one of the most

successful eras the sport has ever seen. Together, Lewis and Mercedes won six driver's world

titles, eight Constructors titles and 84 races, scoring 153 podiums and

78 poles along the way. In a special episode celebrating Lewis's 12 seasons at the team,

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolf reflected on how their relationship has evolved during that time.

It was very nice because we were basically thrown into this project in 2013.

Both of us knew and generally we started to like each other, respect each other.

And then after 2016, when we really had time to discuss the year

and obviously the outcome, this is the moment where we kind of grew really close together.
