Hey guys, Adam Ray here for the About Last Night podcast. And today is, um, well, I'm just sad.

Um, um, I don't like that I'm even recording this right now.

But Brody Stevens, who if you love comedy, you know who he is, you've probably followed him on social media or hopefully gotten to see him live

and know how he truly um was one of the best performers comedians most interesting human beings you'll ever come across dynamic, kind,

warm, versatile. It's not enough positive adjectives to describe Stephen Brody Stevens.

But he passed away.

And so...

So...

So...

We wanted to re-release the episode that we recorded with him.

Because it's just really hard to process something like this.

And thousands of comedians and people that came across brodie that knew him well that kind of knew him that were best friends with them which everyone felt like

they were best friends of them you know i remember the moment i met Brody, or, you know, at the best damn sports show, after watching him on a public access show in Seattle when I was in middle school.

And I was so starstruck.

And what I know, I'd become friends with them and do thousands of shows with them and have long late-night

conversations in the comedy store parking lot with them and coffee shops and by the way these are

all experiences and accounts that that everyone has because you just you got excited to be around Brody

you love to see them, and every comic, if they had an opportunity, would go out of the way to stay late night and watch them at the comedy store.

I was fortunate enough to be brought up by him on stage in the original room, many a night's.

He gave me such sweet intros. You know, even if his set didn't go the way he wanted

and still power through and find a way to be like this next guy give him what excuse me give him

what you didn't give me give him the respect he deserves he's from Seattle. He gets it. He knows who Jay Buehner is. He's
