Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Now we've been meditating on the 9th ten commandment, which helps us to not ruin our lives and our happiness by lust and greed and pride.

Yesterday we reflected on the way that fasting can overcome lust and today the way that

Olm's giving conquers greed. Now greed is the disordered love of money and the stuff you can get with money.

So what's the antidote?

Very clearly, the best practice you can do to counteract greed is to give alms,

to donate money to something for a supernatural reason.

Or Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver

us from evil, amen.
