Hello my friends welcome back to Unshaken I'm Jared Halverson now last week I was in white shirt and tie I

needed to be because I was going to be teaching in Zarahemla church headquarters and

in Gideon with people that were just ready to for that kind of white shirt wonder.

But today I'm in Ammanaiha and so I've got a dress down.

I'm gonna get kicked straight out of town if I come in with a white shirt and tie.

If I'm Alma, that is, I have no authority

over the people that I'm about to preach to. They have already, they've long since left the church.

He has long since taken off his political hat. He's got no outside authority over these

people and so he's got to figure out a different way to reach them. He

actually, as we'll see today, he tries to come in, they basically kick him out and he's ready to

leave forever until he figures out there's got to be another way in and so he tries

something different today wardrobe wise we're trying something different okay okay? Now today we're going to be covering

Alma 8 through 12. There's a ton of material here. Okay? Pray for me that I can squeeze this into a shorter amount of time.

I think four years ago it took me three and a half hours to get through this material.

It's incredible. Chapter 8 you will see Amman, excuse me, Alma, come into Ammaniha

and it kind of sets the stage.

In chapter 9 and chapter 10,

we will see him interact with Amulak.

They become this incredible dynamic duo,

mission companions there.

And then Chapter 11, you have this incredible discourse,

mostly from Amulek to Zizram.
