He is Paul Tenorio, and we are speaking to you in the hours after the U.S. men's national

team's loss, one zero loss at Panama at Estadio Romel Fernandez.

Paul, this was not a good showing for the U.S. men's national team.

They had five shots in this game. None of them were on goal. First time that's happened in the

World Cup qualifier in 28 tries. That street goes all the way back to a 2013 match at Esteka

against Mexico. Seven changes to the starting lineup that beat Jamaica on Thursday, they didn't take. The

performance was bad pretty much almost entirely across the board for this national team.

Basically nothing really went right. They didn't allow many chances to Panama. So defensively,

you know, they weren't, they weren't awful. The pressing was a little monkey in the first half for

sure. But they weren't conceding a ton of chances. But other than that, there's not really

anything to look at this game and take away and feel really good about. But let's talk about

what's your, what's your big picture kind of takeaway from this one

Paul? Yeah, I mean I think there has to be questions about the ideas of rotation for the men's

national team like what is the best strategy because rotation has to be a part of what you do in these windows,

right? Like it has to be. You're playing three games and seven days. If you don't rotate,

you're taking a massive risk of long-term injuries, of players wearing down over time, of players wearing down in the third game and the performance

suffering as a result, especially when you look at this window.

They played in a very hot Austin in the first game.

Tonight was brutal in Panama.

The humidity was crazy.
