So on today's episode, we will be covering the latest

babysitters club adaptation airing on Netflix

and the first book, original book from the series.

And just want to start by saying thanks

to all of our listeners who were able to join us for our watch long of the last two episodes, which was so, so fun.

That was very fun, and I'm so glad you could watch the finale with us. My only regret is that we didn't just binge watch everything as a marathon.

It was really hard to stop. I could have put this directly into a cocktail right into my veins.

I was ready to just like take all of this in immediately.

And I think it kind of came into our lives at the perfect moment because I won't speak for you but I was sort of having a week where just the reality of this being life now with COVID and just like being home all the time and etc.

It's still just like starting to get to me and you know just the general low-grade anxiety of like life in 20-20 so for us to be able we watch this with a couple of Friends of ours, the first couple episodes, and it was just so much joy.

Like immediately, everyone in the group who had had a rough day was like, this has completely turned everything around for me. It's just pure joy.

I was shocked by two things. I didn't want to go into the series with super high expectations

in part because it came out right before the fourth and for the past several

years stranger things being dropped right before the 4th of July has been like a joy

for me I love that show fun. I get like excited to
