I've just written a book called Red on Red,

Liverpool versus Man United, the faces rivalry in football.

I'm joined by Phil McNulty, Chief Sports Writer for the BBC, and author and jailist Jim White.

So Jim, who's idea was this to write a book?

I mean, I mean, you're a Man United fan, aren't you?

I am a Man United fan, and it's very kind of you to talk to him, Pete,

in such a pleasant manner.

I thought you'd just be mocking me frankly. I thought I thought

the moment I saw you just laugh. But anyway, no, I think I had the hand over that to

Phil actually. He said, you know, it's a great rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United, but there's more to it than the worse than

the the

the work were Manchester United. But there's more to it than the football.

There's the cities, culture, history, music, politics,

all these things put together.

So yeah, why not write a book about football rivalry, but widen it out in the broader context,

bringing in all these other things as well, and that's what we've tried to do.

So the idea was hers.

We couldn't come with anything original.
