Welcome back to true crime cases. I'm your host, Lainey.

I wanted to start this episode by sharing an incredible experience I had in 24 when the Dallas Public Library invited me to speak at

their mini true crime convention. As a lifelong lover of public libraries and someone who

deeply values the role they play in our communities, I couldn't pass it up.

The opportunity to support their mission is something that's really important to me.

Now, for the event, I covered the haunting case of Alan Ross, a filmmaker whose tragic disappearance and connection to a fringe religious group left so many unanswered

questions. Preparing for this presentation took a lot of focus

and creativity, so I am excited to be able to present this to you all today. Now, I know some people

wrote in and were like, we love this format. This will not be a format that we do all the time,
