In the early morning hours of January 29th, 2022 Boston police officer John O'Keefe was found dead outside of 34 Fairview Road in Canton, Massachusetts.

His girlfriend, Karen Reid, is accused of second-degree murder,

with prosecutors alleging she struck him with her SUV after a night

of drinking and left him to die in the snow. However, Karen Reid's defense team presents an

alternative narrative, asserting that O'Keefe was beaten inside the home during a party hosted

by fellow police officer Brian Albert and then

subsequently staged outside to frame Karen Reid.

They highlight alleged investigative misconduct, including the use of inappropriate evidence collection methods

and potential conflicts of interest due to the close ties

between investigators and the Albert family. The defense also questions the integrity of

key witness Jennifer McCabe, who admitted to being untruthful with investigators and faced

intense cross-examination regarding those inconsistencies.
