How was it representing your country in Sydney, taking home gold?

I think the most fun was, you know, just hanging out with the other athletes.

Yeah.

You know, like you start off, well, you start off, we started off in Maui, you know, for like 10 days working out of Maui.

And then, you know, getting to hang out with like, you know, the other guys, Ray, you know,

Sharif, KG, you know, Jeep, Gary, and Jason, like, all, we all just kind of, like, got close, right?

And then you go from there, then we went to, I think, Tokyo and Sydney was a long way, though.

That was a long, that was a long trip.

Went to Melbourne, and they had this World Economic Conference in Melbourne.

And one thing that happened was they had these protesters.

And they had a gunman just like literally like they were like hey we got guys you're going to have to like exit out the back of the hotel because there was a lot

of political world political strife going on at the time but I would say say the most memorable part was, you know, just walking through Olympic Stadium.

Like in that green room, you're sitting with like the Serena and Venus and Lindsay Davenport.

And all these people like you just watch and you're like going out in the same uniform, you know, Olympic Stadium, 100,000 people, and you're just like,

wow, this is something that the gold medal was actually, was really cool, but like the opening

ceremonies was like, that's pretty special, you know, and we got, we, we beat France, but Lithuania

gave us a nice little run in the, in the semifinal round. Who were the best, like, who were the best foreigners in that, in that Olympics? I can't even remember. Was that before Tony Parkist time? No, I was before Tony. Mm-hmm. I was before Tony. Yeah, I was a little young, so... Yeah. I'm going to think like...

What am I doing?
