And this is Malton on movies.

And we're starting off the New Year right with a fellow film lover, film buff, and something I can't say that we are,

filmmaker. He's a very talented filmmaker. And is rock and roll high school still your

calling card after all this time, you think? Alan Arkish. Well, thank you, Leonard. It is something

that people refer to all the time. And it's one of those things where it just plays constantly. It's Facebook every other day. Someone has posted something about it. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. It isn't like two or three weeks that go by where I don't have to respond to something or someone asked me about it.

And I have to say we had a wonderful screening last summer at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

And he sold out like 1,700 people.

Yeah.

And the tone of those screenings...

And that was just the living.

Yeah.

And those screenings are usually you get a group of, say, four people, three of which have seen the movie. Yeah. And those screenings are usually, you get a group of, say, four people,

three of which have seen the movie many times.

So there's one who hasn't seen it,

and everyone is telling them go, oh, wait till this happens.

Wait till the end.

And they talk during it, and the music,

it becomes much more communal experience.
