If you don't offer support and quote unquote,

gender affirming care, which is, as you said,

often ephemism for the beginning stages of sterilization

through puberty blockers and then a stepping stone

to mutilating surgeries, permanently removing body parts

that, you know, gendered body parts.

If, unless you do all this,

you're gonna have a bunch of dead kids on your hand

because they're a bad mental health, et cetera, et cetera.

Leaving aside the fact completely

that there doesn't really seem to be any evidence of that yet.

And I would actually submit,

even if there were evidence of that,

the solution wouldn't be to mutilate people

and block their hormones.

But anyway, this is how the fight's playing out.

So it will take, I think, many years now before,

well, we'll see how this clash plays out

and we'll see how the business community

and how the kind of Chamber of Commerce type donor community

on the right responds to this type of thing.
