Well, it's great to be with you, Kim. Thanks so much for having me.

I'm going to jump right in here. We recently had a Senate leadership election.

And for the first time in 17 years, Republicans are going to have a new

face at the top of their party, having elected John Thune to that position and moving you up to the

whip position. How are things going to be different in the Senate under your leadership and his?

How are they going to be the same? What can we? What should we expect? Well, the big differences,

we're now in the majority. We have 53 senators from the Republican side as a result of a tremendous outpouring of the American people to elect Donald Trump and to elect 53 Republican senators.

And we could have been even higher.

So many of these other four races were very close.

Could have gone anyway in the battleground state.
