I am here this week with Trump campaign senior advisor Tim Murta

on the eve of the giant debate match-up between Donald Trump and

Kamala Harris. Tim it is so great to have you here.

Thanks again for coming on. Look we've got a huge night coming tomorrow with

this ABC debate and I do want to devote a lot of time

to a preview of what we might expect from that but before we even get there let's just

set the stage we've got eight weeks to go until the election and if you look at

the sites out there that do polling averages, every one of them show a race that is on

a knife's edge. We're a clear politics, Kamela up 1.4 points, New York Times polling

average nationally, 2 points.

The battleground states, you see Harris up in a few of the Russ belt states, Trump up a bit in Sunbelt states.

Again, those are the average, but that's the snapshot and the question that my

experience campaigns always care about instead is momentum and so first

question is her surge as it was over where does team Trump view this race at the

moment there's no question her surge is over and I think it's pretty obvious that the best days of the campaign

for Kamala Harris are already behind her.
