is Angela Moser. Angela was the lead associate for the construction of Pinehurst Number 10.

That's a Tom Doak design that opened in early April.

It's the first course that Pinehurst has built since the 90s and it's the first

project for what will be called Pinehurst Sandbines. This is kind of a satellite facility,

about a 10 minute drive from the main hub of the resort.

And the land is really dramatic in this area, really different from what you see on the first nine

Pinehurst courses. So this is a major project and a major opportunity

for Angela Moser. Angela has worked for Tom Doak for about 13 years at this point

but this was actually the first time she served as the lead

associate on a construction job. So she was on hand earlier this week for a

little media function that the resort held at the number 10 course and after that I was able to sit down with her in the library at the Holly Inn in Pinehurst and talk a bit about the course and her career.
