In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

We are all getting ready to meet Him.

The King is coming.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, the revelation of Jesus Christ.

In our last study, we looked at a number of final things. Do you remember the final judgment,

the final destination of Satan and all who reject Christ? Lots of final things. But today, today we come

to a number of first things. You see, God is not the God of endings. God is a God of new beginnings.

And when you get to the end,

you really don't hit a wall. You just find another open door. God always has much more prepared for

those who love him. In fact, the Bible says, I have not seen, ear hath not heard. It is not entering

into the heart of men the things God has prepared for them that love him. That is some of what you

discover in Revelation chapter number 21, because immediately after reading about the lake of fire

in Revelation chapter 20, Revelation 21 begins this way, and I saw a new heaven and a new earth

for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more

sea and i john saw the holy city new jerusalem coming down from god out of heaven prepared as a bride

adorned for her husband did you hear the key word the key word is is new. These are first things. You've not seen this

yet. Remember, the Lord Jesus always saved the best wine for last. Well, the Lord always saves the best

for last. You see, with the devil, you get his best up front and it's all downhill from there, but with Christ,

he always saves the best for last

I'm thinking now of John chapter 14 when Jesus said I'm going to prepare a place for you

and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am

there you may be also he's preparing it now he will reveal soon. And here in Revelation chapter number 21,
