In case it wasn't clear, Cannes has officially begun.

We are recording this episode ahead of time, meaning Rich and I have

flown across the world. But by the time you listen to it, Rich and I will have flown across the world,

and we will be there. As a reminder, next week, we will be releasing daily episodes from Can with

daily updates on the ground. As for today, we're going to be answering some can-related questions, giving you a

preview of some of the films that Rebecca and I particularly have been able to cover ahead of time,

and also talk a little bit about the schedule now that it is finally out and see what tea leaves

we can read from that. Before we dive into all of that, we wanted to remind you guys that we are

hosting a Little Goldman Book Club this summer.

There are a ton of exciting film adaptations coming out this fall that are bound to be in the Oscar conversation.
