I was working on a challenging jigsaw puzzle with a friend for almost a week.

When we were looking for a specific piece, we kept saying, it's just not here.

Then, as we looked a bit more, we'd find it.

This little experience seemed an example of how many so-called puzzling situations play

out in our lives.

We think that some peace is just not there, but as we learn in Christian science when

we persist, everything was there all along

Not long ago, I was asked to give a talk to a group of professionals.

The director gave me a topic to talk about that could help people in their work.

I didn't have a clue. My thoughts seemed scattered,

and I felt separate from God, and that maybe I just wasn't really qualified to give the talk.

Then I turned to God, who is divine mind for help.

I knew that I could trust God because God sees the whole picture.

Pretty quickly, I was able to put together an outline,

sort of like putting together the border of a jigsaw puzzle.

Then I focused on filling in the main points I wanted to make.

Little by little, as I persisted, I could see what God was revealing. It was already a complete
