it feels when you hit like mile 21, 22 of a marathon. You've run so far, but you still have

But that is the theoretical marathon vibe that I have at this point in the year 2025.

It's not even quite fall yet, so we don't have the, like, coziness and the apples

and that sort of

whimsical magic that can come with October, but I have been in the mood for whimsy anyway,

so I've decided to create my own, and I'm creating some for you, I hope, too, by talking about

a couple of whimsical, slightly magical, not necessarily cozy, but, you know, warm kinds of books that you can read if you just need a pick-me-up at this point in your personal marathon that is the year 2025.
