And this is a celebratory month, and so I figured I would take this time to celebrate a whole bunch of folks, the Latina folks,

who have debut novels coming out this year. I recently put together a couple of lists of

debuts, one adult and one YA for the Latina lit newsletter. And you know, it's hard enough

to crack into the publishing game, even more so if you are of any kind of a marginalized

community. So debut authors just don't always get the shine or the marketing dollars that you would hope that they would. So I figured let's do this. Let's celebrate. Let's hopefully put some of these folks on your radar, not just in this month, but a year round, because of course, that's how we do around here.
