You're listening to All The More Books, a weekly show about books of all kinds. I'm your host,

0:17.4

Danica Ellis, and today I'm talking about some new queer books out this

0:22.3

Pride Month. So if you didn't know, one of the things I do at Book Riot is write our

0:28.1

queerish shelves, which is our weekly queer books newsletter. And every month, I shout out

0:34.4

the new queer books out this month that I think are the most exciting,

0:39.8

busiest books, the ones that are on my TBR, anything that I think you should know about. And then

0:46.9

most weeks I also do a bonus list of just bullet points of even more new queer books out this week.

0:55.7

And in June, there are a lot of them.

0:58.9

May and June have been huge new release months in general, but especially for queer books.

1:06.3

And I think last week, my bonus list of queer books was 40 or 50 titles long. So that's,

1:15.5

that's a lot. There are definitely hundreds of new queer books out this month that I am

1:21.2

keeping track of. But I thought I would shout out some of the biggest new queer releases this month because it's just a

1:31.6

great excuse to buy queer books, it being Pride Month. Some of these are going to overlap with

1:38.4

other all the books episodes, things that we might have talked about before or we'll talk about

1:43.9

later in the month,

1:44.8

but I thought it would be fun to have them all in one place, and this will be a pretty

1:49.5

rapid fire run through. So you'll get more information on some of these and other episodes.

1:57.0

Before I get into the 14 new queer books out this month you should know about, I do want to talk about one of the best ways to keep track of new releases, including and maybe especially new queer books.

2:10.2

And that is the new release index, our curated database of new books organized by genre and release date. So you can filter by genre.

2:22.3

You can also filter by queer books, which I think is amazing. And I every month go in and

2:30.2

add a bunch of queer books, make sure that that list is always full.

2:41.6

So if you want to keep on top of the most exciting upcoming queer books, I highly recommend it, and it is included with your All Access membership.
