You're listening to All The More Books, a weekly show about books of all kinds.

0:14.9

I'm your host, Danica Ellis, and today I'm talking about my favorite reads of the year.

0:25.1

So every year in December, we have a lucky co-host that gets to talk about their top books of the year. And I didn't get that

0:32.0

spot, but I have this spot, so I'm going to use it anyway.

0:43.5

I actually always take the one December show where you have to talk about the books that came out in December because there are so few books that come out this month.

book lover on your list, especially for the book lovers that have read so much that you really

1:55.5

don't know how to buy a book for them that they won't have already read if they have very specific tastes.

2:03.0

You don't need to know their whole rundown of likes and dislikes.

2:07.3

You can get them a round of tailored book recommendations,

2:10.3

and they will fill out the survey with their reading likes and dislikes,

2:14.3

and our expert bibliologists will use their magical bookish knowledge that always

2:20.7

just astounds me how many titles they have in their mental rolodex, and they will give three
