I'm Carly Weizel, and I am happy to be back after taking the week off.

I truly, whenever I take a week off, I deeply desperately miss this podcast, which makes

what I'm about to say next a little more complicated.

I shared some of this news on Instagram last week, so if you saw that, you are already

primed for this, but if you have not, I unfortunately, sadly, but understandably, must

announce that I am going to be going on maternity leave earlier than I anticipated.

There's many reasons for this.

The primary one is that my brain doesn't really work anymore.

Like, if I eat any food, all the blood in my potty is growing a gigantic child, and it

has become prohibitively difficult to put this podcast out every week.

I had grand plans.

I was, as I mentioned in other intros in weeks past.

I was going to, I've already outlined all the episodes that I was going to publish while

I'm on maternity leave and was going to work up to the day that I gave birth, but sadly,

that is a path that I just have to turn away from and go down a new path, which is that

we are ending this season a little earlier than I thought.

Now I'm pumped.
