0:35.2	In a past backlist episode that I did, I recommended the book
0:39.0	Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff.
0:41.2	I have since then forced the book upon my wife who also loved it and we
0:46.3	started watching the show and I am obsessed. Often with books being turned into
0:51.9	shows or movies I'm super skeptical as I'm sure many of you are as well.
0:56.0	But with Lovecraft Country, the layers of deliberate choices of the show creators,
1:02.0	combined with the phenomenal performances is just blowing my mind every week.
1:08.0	It is definitely scarier than the book and I've not watched horror in many years because I'm a really big
1:14.7	chicken. So I simultaneously love the show and I'm also just endlessly terrified
1:19.9	from now on so being scared is just part of who I am now, but it's totally worth it.
1:25.4	I don't watch much TV, so it's always a treat to find something that I'm really into.
