southern hemisphere, as of course you know and to fall for those of us up north

I was gonna say conversation. It was actually just kind of an annoying icebreaker today about how people feel about pumpkin spice lattes

They are not for me frankly although I would drink a peppermint mocha all year round

But I will admit I have definitely celebrated the

beginning of fall by buying at least one six-pack of my favorite pumpkin

flavored beer. It's called Atomic Pumpkin, it's great, it's got like a little kick to it. Honestly, I will stockpile it and probably drink it till February. But that is not why you're here. So for better or worse, along with the change of seasons for those of us in the U.S. every four years

brings a different kind of season along with the fall. And that is the presidential election season.

Maybe you are a person who is all in on the 538

Maybe you're tired of it.

Maybe you live in a different part of the world

and have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm deeply jealous if that's the case.

Any of the above are just fine because just like last month I've got one book for you that is

relevant to the US electoral climate and one that has

absolutely nothing to do with it. Doesn't even take place in the US in fact. Let's talk

more about both in just a minute.
